The Library has a trial subscription to the JSTOR digital journal archives until October 24.
JSTOR provides full text articles to back issues of core scholarly journals. All titles in JSTOR begin from the first issue and extend up to a publication date of 3-5 years ago. Issues are added on an ongoing basis, however, current issues are never available in JSTOR since its defining mission is to serve as a permanent, accessible and complete archival record of journals.
JSTOR at the community college level exposes students to an important resource that they will encounter at four-year institutions. It provide access to academic research not accessible through our current subscription databases. JSTOR can bridge the gap in our journal holdings.
JSTOR offers nearly 30 Arts & Sciences and Life Sciences collections. Take advantage of this free trial and tell us if you like what you see by giving us feedback. See our database trials page for more resources we’re checking out!
Botanists, plant biologists and horticulturalists:
The Global Plant Initiative from JSTOR offers 2 million high resolution plant type specimens from hundreds of herbaria around the world. Let us know if you want to arrange a trial of this unique resource.
