Our last event for Finals Countdown [New Window] will be a lei workshop in Kapunawai, Thursday, May 9th, 8AM-4PM.

We’ll have lei workstations (which will include tī leaves, yarn, ribbon, needles, & string) and demos throughout the day. Feel free to B.Y.O.F. – bring your own foliage (i.e. flowers, leaves, etc.)!

Job and Career Preparation Resources Display

Are you looking to update your resume or perhaps interested in further developing your leadership skills?

Located near the Reference Desk on the Leeward Library’s upper level is a display of selected books to support your work and career goals.

Included is an assortment of e-book titles with QR (quick response) codes to access titles through their Hawaiʻi Voyager records. Also, check out the Job and Career Preparation collection  [New Window] in OverDrive.

The Finals Countdown period begins Monday, April 22nd!  We will extend our library hours Mondays – Thursdays to 9:00 p.m.

Spring 2019 Library Extended Hours
Monday, April 22 – Friday, May 10

Monday – Thursday 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Friday 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

BOOK POTLUCK…Share a Tasty Read!

We invite you to participate in a Book Potluck by recommending to our library community a favorite or meaningful book from our collection.

How to Participate: 

1) Select your book of choice from our collection. An e-book is okay too.

2) Fill out a comment card about the book. This is available on the “Book Potluck” display unit on the Library’s UPPER level. If your book is an e-book, please check the box for “E-book” and we will print the e-book cover.

3) Place book and comment card on the UPPER level display unit.

Periodically, these books will be moved and showcased in the entrance display case on the Library’s MAIN level.
