Over the Spring and Summer, we have been working diligently to plan the information architecture of our future website, familiarize ourselves with the capabilities of the new platform, and to bring our vision to life. During the Fall semester, we plan on beta-testing the website with faculty and students, alike. The beta website will be accessible to patrons through a link on our existing website and testers have an option of completing a survey to inform us of what went well and what could be improved. We will also host focus groups to see firsthand what people are struggling with. The results of the testing will help us to improve the future website even further before an official rollout. Our primary goal is to make the future website as user-friendly and intuitive as possible.
