ViewPure removes comments, ads, and related videos, allowing you to watch YouTube videos without distractions or inappropriate ads, comments, or related videos. This is perfect for showing YouTube videos in class.
It’s simple to use.
- Find a YouTube video and copy the share link.
- Go to http://viewpure.com/ and paste the link in the box that says, “Enter YouTube URL or search term…”
- Click “Purify”. Copy the link of that webpage; that is the webpage to show your video in class.
In my experience, there are still some ads, but I think it’s less, and it removes the comments and other distracting related videos posted around it.

Do we have to follow the recommended procedure each time we log in the YouTube?
Thanks, Rachel.

Rachel,
What I meant to ask in my previous message is whether I have to go to log in first to viewpure before logging in to YouTube.

Hi Zeny,
You don’t need an account for YouTube or PureView to use it. Either search for the desired video on YouTube and copy the share link or if you have the video link already then copy it. On the PureView website, paste the copied YouTube video in and click the “Purify” button. It will bring you to a clean page with the video. Copy that page’s link and use that to show your video in class. Try it out and let me know how it goes for you.
